Bill began his career with IDS Life in 1992 and continued after it was acquired by American Express, he was a Wealth Advisor with Astorino Financial Group from 2010-2014. He re-opened Connington Wealth Management in 2015.
Bill holds securities registrations 7, 24 and 63 through LPL Financial and holds several insurance licenses. In 1992, he earned a BS from Seton Hall University, and has been a member of the Financial Advisory board of the University since 2005. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Connington is the author of articles that have appeared in The Star-Ledger, Physician's Money Digest, Dermatology Times, and Businessweek.
Bill is active in his community, having served as an elected Councilman for the Township of Fairfield from 2008 to 2010. He also served on the Fairfield municipal planning board and was a liaison to the township's finance department and its environmental commission. Bill is active in coaching local youth sports as well as travel baseball, basketball & softball programs. Bill is an avid golfer and sailor. He services the Sarasota, FL area and the tri-state area of NY, NJ, and CT where he also focuses his time speaking with local organizations throughout the year on financial literacy.
